George Woods Delivery & Returns Information
The following Terms & Conditions apply for all products purchased from Timber Door canopies by George Woods.
PAYMENT METHODS
Payment can be made via the following options:
Over the phone with a credit/debit card
Online with a credit/debit card
Cheque (goods will be sent once cleared funds are received)
Cash
We do not accept American Express.
DELIVERY
FAST & FREE Delivery on all orders!
Current standard delivery time: up to 5 working days
(May be less depending on stock, please email or call if you would like a better estimate)
We try our very best to stick to these delivery times but on the rare occasion we may be slightly delayed we will let you know. If you would like a guaranteed delivery date please send us an email or call us on 01363 884218.
Please provide us with a contact number and any additional delivery information e.g. a safe place or a preferred neighbour.
Price to include Delivery and VAT (UK Mainland only). Fitting instructions will be sent with your canopy, these can also be found here
LARGE ORDERS may take longer - please contact us prior to ordering for a delivery date.
Our main courier is DX Freight but occasionally we may use ParcelForce or Royal Mail for smaller deliveries.
Standard delivery is Mon-Fri only. Saturday delivery is available for an extra cost of £10, please phone us to arrange this on 01363 884218.
Worldwide delivery
Our standard delivery is to mainland UK only, but if you are further afield we can still ship to you! Please call us on 01363 884218 for a price and to complete your order.
REFUND POLICY
Please notify us within 14 days of receipt if you wish to return your item. You then have 14 days for the item to reach us, we will then inspect the item for damage and refund accordingly. Please note your refund may take 3-5 working days to clear in your bank account.
Return expenses must be covered by the customer unless damaged.
NO RETURNS FOR BESPOKE ORDERS, as this is a custom order built to your specifications. Please double check your measurements!
CONSTRUCTION
The client constructs the canopy at her/his own risk as we do not install the canopies. George Woods only supply the timber work for the canopies.
We require notice within 7 days of any damage made in transit, in which case the canopy must be returned in full.
Products must not be left wrapped up in the packaging for any prolonged amount of time as the timber will sweat in the bag and therefore be ruined. Please remove from packaging as soon as received.
Canopy can not be returned due to customer error over dimensions/design.
Our canopies take on average 150 kgs of weight.
Canopies are not designed to be stood on.
